HKEX to expand product offering with SHEIN debut

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) has announced plans to broaden its product range for investors ahead of the trading debut of SHEIN Global Holdings Limited (SHEIN, Stock Code: 625) on 1 September 2026.
Subject to SHEIN's listing on that date, HKEX will introduce weekly and monthly options on the company's shares.
Issuers have been informed that derivative warrants linked to SHEIN shares may be listed once the shares begin trading on HKEX's securities market.
SHEIN shares are also set to be included in HKEX's designated securities eligible for short selling on 1 September 2026, again subject to the completion of the listing.
