HKEX to Launch 12 New Stock Futures Contracts on 18 January 2027

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) has announced the introduction of 12 new stock futures contracts, scheduled to begin trading on 18 January 2027.
The new contracts complement some of HKEX's most actively traded single stock option classes, expanding the derivatives available on those underlying stocks. HKEX said the addition broadens investor choice and gives market participants greater flexibility to meet their trading and risk management needs.
The Commission Levy on the new stock futures contracts will be waived for the first six months after trading commences.
