SEHK (Stock Exchange of Hong Kong) has announced that the Main Board and GEM (Growth Enterprise Market) websites will be unified with effect from 28 May 2022.

Since 1999, GEM has had its own website providing information covering all aspects of the market including company announcements and other information of listed issuers, trading prices and market statistics.

SEHK said in an information paper last month that the Main Board and GEM websites will be unified to align the corporate branding and optimise the technical infrastructure of HKEX (Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing).

The change is also aimed at providing streamlined access to market information relating to both Main Board and GEM issuers, including market data reports, daily quotations, corporate communications, and disclosure of interests forms.

The websites unification will involve the  migration and merging of all material information on the current GEM website with the HKEX and HKEXnews websites, except for information that is outdated.

Upon completion of the websites unification, the HKEX (The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited) website and the HKEXnews website will have designated GEM sections where the public may access information such as: daily quotations of GEM listed issuers, new listing information of GEM new applicants, and progress reports of GEM new listing applications.

Listing rule amendments reflecting the websites unification will also come into effect on 28 May 2022.
