Hong Kong SFC Announces New Appointments to Its Committees

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has announced new appointments and reappointments to the following committees with effect from 1 April 2022:

• ​Investor Compensation Fund Committee

• ​Nominations Committee

• ​Products Advisory Committee

• Public Shareholders Group

• ​Securities Compensation Fund Committee

• ​SFC (HKEC Listing) Committee

• ​Takeovers and Mergers Panel

• ​Takeovers Appeal Committee

"The SFC welcomes all the new committee members and expresses its gratitude to outgoing members for their service,"the commission said.

Earlier, the SFC has publicly censured Wonderful Sky Financial Group Holdings Limited and Liu Tianni and publicly criticised Liu Kiki Ching Tung for breaching the Code on Share Buy-backs.
