Hormoz Faryar Named Managing Director at Sky Links Capital

Sky Links Capital has appointed Hormoz Faryar as managing director, tasking him with leading institutional business development and supporting the MENA-focused CFD broker's expansion into global markets.

Faryar brings more than 25 years of experience in institutional e-FX trading and sales. His previous roles include vice president of AES FX Sales at Credit Suisse, global head of institutional sales at Equiti Group, and head of institutional sales at ADSS. Since 2023, he served as managing director of institutional sales at ATFX MENA.

Based in Dubai, Faryar will oversee business development, institutional client relationships, and strategic growth in key markets. His expertise covers trading systems, FX options, algorithmic trading, and institutional solutions that help clients manage transaction costs and market impact.

Daniel Takieddine, co-founder and CEO of Sky Links Capital Group, said Faryar's experience building FX and multi-asset businesses in the MENA region and elsewhere fits the company's institutional growth plans. He added that the appointment is expected to support the division's expansion and create new opportunities across the platform.

Faryar said he plans to draw on his e-FX trading and institutional sales experience to develop solutions for institutional clients and aims to strengthen Sky Links Capital's position as a partner to institutional traders and asset managers.

Sky Links Capital grew out of Dubai-based Sky Links Properties LLC and Sky Links Gold Trading LLC, both established in 2018 by former ADSS vice president Talat Rathore. In 2024, the group appointed former BDSwiss MENA CEO Daniel Takieddine to establish its online brokerage business focused on the MENA region.
