Huawei Ties with Paysafe for Online Cash Payments in Huawei AppGallery

The leading specialized payments platform Paysafe and Huawei, a leading global provider of information technology and communications technology infrastructure and smart devices, have inked a partnership deal.
According to the official press release, Paysafe’s online cash payment solution paysafecard is now available as an alternative payment method in the Huawei App Gallery in Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden and the UK. Plans to continue the rollout throughout most countries where paysafecard is available, will make cash-based online purchases available to millions of customers.
paysafecard, available in 50 countries through a distribution network of more than 700,000 stores, enables consumers to use cash to shop for goods and services online. Payment transactions are completed simply and securely, using the paysafecard account. Sensitive financial data such as bank account or credit card details are not required.
“Working with a powerhouse like Huawei extends the reach of our cash-based payment solution to millions of additional consumers. This is a major step on our path to making paysafecard the payment method of choice in the digital entertainment space. For cash-reliant consumers, it also makes purchases in the Huawei AppGallery more accessible, enabling them to make online purchases without a credit card or the need to reveal sensitive financial data,” Udo Müller, CEO of Paysafe’s eCash division, commented on the collaboration.
Shortly before, Fazzaco reported that Paysafe has formed a payments partnership with the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the trade association of the world's airlines.
