i2c Appoints Miguel Olvera to Accelerate Mexican Business Growth

i2c Inc., a global processor of highly-configurable payment & open banking solutions from a single integrated platform, announced the appointment of Miguel Olvera as its Regional Director, Business Development, Mexico.  

In his new role, Olvera will be responsible for accelerating expansion efforts in the market including spearheading strategic alliances with banks, fintechs, merchants and other 3rd party ecosystem participants, according to the company's statement on Monday.

Olvera brings more than 13 years of experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining i2c Inc., Olvera held executive roles at Citibanamex, Mexico’s largest financial institution, where he spent for nearly a decade. 

As seen on his Linkedin profile, Olvera most recently served as Country Manager of Wirecard to expand the platform's presence in the Mexican market.

Commenting on the new appointment, Kevin Fox, EVP, Head of Sales – Americas at i2c Inc.,said: “Miguel brings with him a wealth of payments and fintech knowledge, experience and contacts in one of the world’s most robust and promising markets. The current climate and potential for payments innovation in Mexico and LAC in general is easily understated.
