IC Markets Extends Partnership with World Table Tennis Through 2025

Contracts-for-differences (CFDs) broker IC Markets has renewed its sponsorship deal with World Table Tennis (WTT) for an additional year, extending their collaboration through the 2025 season. This agreement, initially established in 2023, secures IC Markets' status as WTT's Official Trading Partner.

The extended partnership kicked off with the WTT Finals Fukuoka 2024. IC Markets' branding will be prominently displayed at tournaments across Asia, Europe, and Africa. Blythe Fitzwiliam, Commercial Partnerships Director at WTT, remarked, "IC Markets has been an integral partner in our journey since 2023, and we're delighted to strengthen this relationship further."

While based in Australia, the agreement was signed through IC Markets' Seychelles entity. The broker is known for significant sports sponsorship investments, including a €10 million deal with Inter Milan in 2020. In contrast to football, table tennis offers niche appeal but commands a vast audience in Asia, particularly in China, where 350 million watched during the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
