ICE Delists Several Bakkt Bitcoin Futures Contracts and All Bakkt Bitcoin Option Contracts

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE), a leading global provider of data, technology and market infrastructure, announced the delisting of several Bakkt Bitcoin futures contracts and all Bakkt Bitcoin option contracts.
In an announcement released last Friday (July 28), ICE stated: "Effective immediately, the Exchange has delisted all Bakkt® Bitcoin futures contracts other than the August and September 2023 expiry months, and has also delisted all Bakkt® Bitcoin Option contracts. Also effective immediately, no new Bakkt® Bitcoin futures or option expiry months will be listed for trading.
"The August and September 2023 expiry months will continue to be listed for trading through their regular Last Trading Days, which are August 24 and September 28, 2023 respectively."
Bakkt, the crypto futures trading exchange backed by ICE, launched the first regulated options contract for bitcoin future in the U.S. in 2019. With the country's increasing regulatory pressure in the crypto industry, the platform had delisted a large number of digital assets in this May, including some prominent DeFi token such as Aave (AAVE), Bancor Network Token (BNT), Basic Attention Token (BAT), Chainlink (LINK), Chiliz (CHZ) and Uniswap (UNI).
