ICE Futures U.S. Fines Vantage Capital Markets $30,000 for Reporting Violations
ICE Futures U.S. has fined Vantage Capital Markets LLP (VCM LLP) $30,000 following a settlement regarding alleged block trade reporting violations and supervisory failures.
According to a disciplinary notice, a subcommittee determined that between May and October 2024, VCM LLP may have violated Exchange Rule 4.07(c). The firm allegedly submitted block trades involving MSCI India NTR Index and MSCI Emerging Markets Selection Index Futures with incorrect execution times and failed to report them within the required 15-minute window.
Additionally, the committee found that VCM LLP potentially violated Rules 4.01(a) and 4.01(b) by failing to diligently supervise employee block trade activities and failing to enforce adequate compliance procedures.
VCM LLP agreed to the monetary penalty to settle the matter without admitting or denying the alleged violations.
