ICE’s Total ADV Rises 11% YoY in November

The US futures exchange Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) has released recently its financial metrics for November 2021, unveiling that the total average daily volume (ADV) grew 11% YoY, and total open interest (OI) up 6% YoY.
Other financial highlights are as follows:
Total Energy ADV increased 15% YoY, with OI up 3% YoY;
Total Oil ADV went up 20% YoY, alongside Brent ADV, Gasoil ADV up 31%, and 21% on a year basis, respectively;
Other crude and refined products ADV was up 9% YoY;
Total natural gas ADV rose 4% YoY, with OI up 4% YoY;
TTF gas ADV surged 50% YoY, with OI up 19% YoY;
Coffee ADV increased 15% YoY, with OI up 19% YoY;
Cocoa OI was up 26% YoY;
Cotton ADV grew 8% YoY, with OI up 21% YoY;
Total Interest Rate ADV went up 13%, with OI up 13% YoY;
Euribor ADV boomed 51% YoY, with OI up 45% YoY;
Gilt ADV was up 21% YoY, with OI up 63% YoY;
Equity Options ADV rose 38% YoY.
In October, ICE’s total ADV showed a significant jump of 43% on a yearly basis.
