iFOREX Appoints Former CMC Markets Analyst Michael Hewson as Senior Financial Strategist

Global CFD and FX broker iFOREX has appointed Michael Hewson as its Senior Financial Strategist, adding an experienced market commentator to its research and education team. The appointment follows Hewson's lengthy tenure at CMC Markets and his subsequent work as an independent analyst.

iFOREX confirmed Hewson has assumed the role with immediate effect. He will provide market analysis for clients worldwide and assist in developing educational content covering major asset classes and macroeconomic themes. The company stated he will support clients navigating market conditions through regular commentary and structured materials, complementing iFOREX's existing research.

Hewson brings over three decades of financial market experience, specializing in both technical and fundamental analysis. He spent more than 16 years at CMC Markets, including over ten years as Chief Market Analyst in London, where he led daily market coverage and contributed to product development.

iFOREX recently became a publicly listed retail trading firm, pricing its long-delayed London IPO at a valuation of approximately £43.3 million. The listing followed scrutiny of its financials, which showed largely flat annual revenue of around $49–50 million and EBITDA of roughly $4 million in 2025. The broker has also expanded its equity offerings with CFDs on Saudi Arabian and South Korean shares.
