iFOREX Considers LSE Listing Amid Expansion Plans

Online trading platform iFOREX is evaluating a potential listing on the London Stock Exchange. Founded in 1996 by Eyal Carmon, iFOREX has operated a digital platform offering trading in Contracts for Difference (CFDs) and forex, with services spanning commodities, indices, stocks, and cryptocurrencies for retail investors.
Nearly three decades since its inception, the firm is preparing for a potential public listing. The company believes that a London IPO could enhance its credibility and visibility as it seeks to expand its global footprint. The proceeds from a potential Initial Public Offering would be allocated towards several goals, including strengthening its brand, deploying artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to enhance its platform, and securing new regulatory licenses.
Financially, iFOREX reported a trading income of $50.1 million for the year ending December 31, accompanied by adjusted pre-tax profits of $7.6 million. While the company has not disclosed a timeline or valuation target for the potential IPO, this announcement signals a growing trend of private fintech firms exploring public capital markets to fuel their next phase of development.
In related developments, iFOREX launched an AI trading assistant last year, designed to answer traders' questions directly on the iFOREX website. A spokesperson from iFOREX commented to PR Newswire on this innovation: "Trading can be complex and time-sensitive. Our new AI assistant is here to simplify the process, providing our clients with the information they need precisely when they need it. This innovation underscores our commitment to leveraging the latest technology to enhance our clients' trading experience."
Earlier this year, iFOREX also introduced a new fund management feature named Vault. This tool enables clients to transfer funds from active trading accounts into a protected space without incurring transfer fees, allowing them to secure portions of their capital away from market exposure while maintaining instant access. The Vault feature is presented as addressing common challenges traders face in managing risk and liquidity.
