IG Group Sees Growth in Q3 FY24 Revenue, and Departure of CFO and COO

IG Group, a global online trading company offering CFDs and Forex, has released today (March 14) its revenue update for the three months to 29 February 2024 (Q3 FY24), showing a stable increase on both quarterly and yearly basis.
Total revenue in this period reached £240.1 million, compared to £229.7 million in Q2 FY24 and £239.3 million in Q3 FY23. Interest income was £35.2 million, of which £19.1 million was generated in the US.
Active clients in the quarter totaled 266,800, rising from 263,600 in the previous quarter. Besides, total client assets across the group at the quarter end hit a record of £10.1 billion.
In the first half of FY24, the group registered a total revenue of £472.6 million, dropping 9% compared to £519.1 million in H1 FY23.
On the same day, the group announced the departure of its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Charlie Rozes, and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Jon Noble.
Charlie will resign from the role of CFO and Executive Director, effective 31 July 2024. He beame CFO of IG Group in June 2020.
Noble will leave immediately, but will remain with the group for a short period to ensure an orderly transition. He has been with IG Group for over 24 years.
"Charlie and Jon have made a huge contribution to IG's successful development and growth. I wish them every success in their next chapters," stated CEO Breon Corcoran.
A couple days ago, Fazzaco reported that Aneira Henery-Morley has resigned from IG Group as Global Head of Marketing Partnerships.
