IG Group has seemingly closed down Daily FX, its trading news and forex analysis website, redirecting users to its main website. This move marks a significant shift in the broker's media strategy.

The closure of Daily FX is closely followed by the rebranding of its social media presence. The YouTube and X (formerly Twitter) accounts previously associated with Daily FX now feature the newly launched show, Trade Live with IG. This morning show airs weekdays from 7:30 am to 10:00 am UK time.

The transition aligns with IG Group's broader strategy to enhance its media offerings, drawing on the successful model it developed with the acquisition of the US-based options broker, tastytrade, in 2021.
