IG Group to Sunset Trading Community Platform

Electronic trading firm IG Group has announced the closure of its online community platform, the IG Community, effective February 28, 2025. The company posted a notice on its website informing users of the impending shutdown.

The notice stated, "We're sad to say that the IG Community will be closing down on February 28th 2025. It's been an incredible space for traders to share insights, discuss strategies, and support one another."

However, IG Group indicated that this is not the end of its community engagement efforts. The company's statement continued, "But this isn't the end. We're looking ahead and will begin planning for a Community platform for the future - one that will be even better suited to your needs."

While no launch date for the new platform has been announced, IG Group has pledged to provide updates via email as development progresses. The company thanked users for their participation in the existing community and expressed anticipation for their return to the future platform.
