IG Group's Head of Emerging Markets APAC Departs

Karman Wong, who served as Head of Emerging Markets APAC for IG Group, has left the company. Ms. Wong's primary responsibilities at IG Group involved business with clients in mainland China.
Ms. Wong spent over 12 years with IG Group, having initially joined as a Sales Trader in 2013. In 2016, she was promoted to Vice President China, a role that saw her based in IG's Shanghai offices for two years.
She returned to Melbourne in 2018 as International Business Development Manager - Greater China, before taking on the role of Head of Emerging Markets APAC in 2020. Ms. Wong holds a Master of Finance degree from Melbourne Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Monash University.
