IG Japan Requires Traders to Submit Insider Information Declaration for Japanese Stock CFD Trading

IG Securities, IG Group's Japanese subsidiary of electronic trading, today issues a notice requiring its clients to submit insider information declaration for Japanese stock CFD trading.

According to the company, customers who will open new positions in Japanese stock CFD transactions after December 21, 2022 should submit the "Insider Information Declaration Form". Customers who are planning to trade Japanese stock CFDs or who are already trading should submit the "Insider Information Declaration Form" by December 19, 2022.

In addition, IG Securities will restrict new trading of Japanese stock CFD trading and settlement for customers who do not submit the "Insider Information Declaration Form" from December 21, 2022.

Earlier this year, IG Japan has warned its clients of possible changes to trading conditions for Russian ruble-related currency pairs​. The shift in trading conditions attributes to "the increasing geopolitical tension between Ukraine and Russia," according to the broker.
