IG Securities, IG Group's Japanese subsidiary of electronic trading, announced that it will cease the offering of US FANG-related stocks, citing that it's difficult to deliver stable prices to customers all day in the trading of the stocks.

According to the announcement, the broker will stop the opening of new positions from February 1, 2022, and trades in these instruments need to be settled before April 30, 2022.

The term 'FANG' refers to the stocks of four prominent American technology companies: Meta (FB) (formerly Facebook), Amazon (AMZN), Netflix (NFLX), and Alphabet (GOOG). FANG stocks are famous for the impressive growth they have shown in recent years, with each member more than doubling over the past five years.

In 2017, the company Apple (AAPL) was also added by some analysts, resulting in the new acronym "FAANG".
