IG Prime Announces Full Integration with Bloomberg EMSX

IG Prime, IG Group's prime brokerage operation, announced on Monday that it has completed the full integration of its execution and clearing systems with Bloomberg's Execution Management System ("EMSX"). Through the Bloomberg EMSX, the company's clients can now connect to Tier 1 bank algo trading suites without the need to adopt a new interface.

EMSX is a multi-asset class trading platform that integrates Bloomberg exchange and broker data with equity, futures and options orders. As an execution management system, EMSX allows users to seamlessly route single name or baskets/lists to more than 1,300 brokers representing more than 6,000 algorithmic/DMA, program and cash-trading destinations.

Singapore's IG Asia Pte Ltd, part of IG Group Holdings plc launched IG Prime for institutional clients to address the specific needs of start-up & multi-prime hedge funds and Family Offices at the end of March 2020. With the full integration of EMSX, the prime institutional services provider further expands the range of platforms to support clients' business.
