iM Global Partner Introduces First European Managed Futures UCITS ETF

iM Global Partner has announced its entry into the European active UCITS ETF market with the launch of the iMGP DBi Managed Futures Fund R USD ETF. The company stated that this fund is the first and only European active UCITS ETF focused on managed futures strategies currently available.
The new ETF has been listed on the Euronext Paris stock exchange and is slated for listing on the London Stock Exchange in pounds sterling soon. iM Global Partner explained that the iMGP DBi Managed Futures Fund R USD ETF is designed to mirror the performance of the iMGP DBi Managed Futures Strategy ETF, which is listed in the United States and is described as the world's largest managed futures ETF. Both ETFs are managed by DBi, a partner of iMGP specializing in hedge fund replication. The European share class will trade under the ticker DBMF:FP, while its U.S. counterpart trades under DBMF:US.
iM Global Partner noted that this alternative investment strategy seeks to replicate the pre-fee performance of a representative selection of major Managed Futures hedge funds and has attracted interest from a diverse range of investors. The company highlighted that this UCITS ETF broadens the existing offerings of the iMGP DBi Managed Futures fund, providing clients with more options to access the Managed Futures space through their preferred investment vehicle.
According to iM Global Partner, the European market for active UCITS ETFs has experienced consistent growth and is considered an evolving component of portfolio construction. The company stated that it has an active pipeline of products and intends to launch additional active UCITS ETFs in the near future. iM Global Partner also emphasized its existing experience in the actively managed ETF market through its operations in the U.S., where it offers a variety of ETFs across different partners and asset classes.
