Insigneo Hires Carlos Carreño as Its New Global AML Officer

Fazzaco learned that Insigneo, a FINRA registered broker-dealer and registered investment advisor, has hired Carlos Carreño as the company's new Global AML Officer.

As seen on his LinkedIn profile, prior to joining Insigneo, Carlos was Regional Chief Compliance Officer at HSBC. Before that, he served as Global Head of AML Advisory at Citi, where he was responsible for the continuous development of the AML program for Global IPB across Europe, Middle East, Asia, LatAm, and North America. Additionally, he worked as Senior Managing Director at SunTrust Bank and VP Complaince Officer for the Latin America Regional Office of Barclays Capital.

Carlos earned his degree from the University of Central Florida.
