Instant Funding Confirms: ThinkMarkets to Cease Services for Prop Firms' U.S. Clients Starting This Friday

Prop trading firm Instant Funding announced today on a social media platform that its partner broker, ThinkMarkets, will stop providing services to U.S. clients of prop trading companies starting from February 23 (This Friday).
In a post on X, Instant Funding stated: "We want to inform our American clients of an important change in our trading platform due to a recent decision by our partner broker, ThinkMarkets.
"As of the end of the trading session on Friday, February 23, ThinkMarkets will cease to provide services to prop firms' clients in the United States, in compliance with a request from our current trading platform provider."
Instant Funding reminds its clients to close all their open positions before the end of the trading session on Friday, February 23, or the company 'will do this automatically for all accounts with open trades at market close'.
In the announcement, the prop trading firm presented a solution, saying it would introduce DXtrade as an alternative trading platform for its US traders. The transition of clients' accounts may take up to three weeks, and during that period, the company has decided to provide free challenge activities and discounts to support affected traders.
Recently, due to increased industry supervision, MetaQuotes, the developer of MT4/MT5, has taken a series of measures to strictly restrict their license of prop firms. Those market participants, including Crypto Fund Trader, Eightcap, Funding Pips, FTMO, and The5ers, have been forced to suspend services to their US customers. To ensure business operations, some of these firms, like Funding Pips, decided to use other trading platforms, such as Match-Trader, cTrader and DXtrade, to replace their existing MT4 or MT5.
