Institutional Spot FX Trading Volume Total Sees A M-o-M 9.33% Dip in October

The institutional spot FX trading volumes of major platforms have seen all-round decline across October 2024. Among the five major institutions, the total sees a 9.33% rise monthly. The max. drop comes from CME EBS, down 14.14%. The trading volume details of each are as follows:

Cboe FX
In October 2024, Cboe FX's spot ADV decreased from US$46.7 billion in September to US$42.83 billion, a 8.29% decrease. The year-on-year comparison shows a 8.39% dip from US$46.75 billion of October 2023.
Euronext FX
In October 2024, Euronext FX's spot ADV decreased from US$27.58 billion in September to US$26.21 billion, the m-o-m decrease is 4.97%. The year-on-year comparison shows a 13.56% rise from US$23.08 billion of October 2023.
FxSpotStream
In October 2024, FxSpotStream's spot ADV decreased from US$72.02 billion in September to US$66.8 billion, down 7.25%. The year-on-year comparison shows a 26.61% rise from US$52.76 billion of October 2023.
360T
In October 2024, 360T's spot ADV increased from US$31.46 billion in September to US$28.59 billion, a 9.12% m-o-m dip. But coincidentally the volumes from October 2023 was also 28.59 billion, consequently no year-on-year fluctuations.
CME EBS
In October 2024, CME EBS's spot ADV decreased from US$67.9 billion in September to US$58.3 billion, down 14.14%. The year-on-year comparison shows a 14.76% rise from US$50.8 billion of October 2023.
