Interactive Brokers Announces Enhancement to Order Ticket in TWS Platform
Interactive Brokers LLC (NASDAQ:IBKR) has announced new enhancement to its Trader Workstation (TWS) platform, offering more flexibility in terms of the setting relating to the Order Ticket.
Specifically, the US-listed brokerage changed the default action to no longer let the Order Ticket dialog box pop out on top of the Order Entry Panel, the Order Line or the Rebalance Window, requiring traders to complete the order when an order was missing one or more attributes. This frees traders from the annoyance of being interrupted when they are creating multiple orders.
Furthermore, traders are also provided with the option to turn on the feature of allowing the Order Ticket to pop out within Global Configuration.
The feature will be turned on in the following steps:
· click the Orders
· enter the Settings configuration page
· check "Show Order Ticket dialog when unable to create order due to missing attributes"
As Fazzaco reported earlier, following an impressive January, which brought a 7 percent jump in Interactive Brokers' public-listed shares, the company has recently continued to make further enhancements to its products and offering of aided tools for trading.
Last week, Interactive Brokers expanded its trading offering through the addition of new products on the IBKR platform. Additionally, the discount brokerage added news and research offerings this week to provide the best possible customer experience.
