Interactive Brokers Delivers 1.991M DARTs for July 2023, Up 9.2% YoY

Interactive Brokers, a US-based automated global electronic broker, has unveiled its Electronic Brokerage monthly performance metrics for July 2023, showing an overall monthly increase across the market.
Trading Overview of July 2023:
Daily average revenue trades (DARTs) recorded 1.991 million for the month, up 1.6% compared with 1.960 million in June 2023 and up 9.2% compared to 1.823 million in July 2022.
Ending client equity amounted to $386.2 billion, 5.8% higher than $365.0 billion in the prior month and 22.8% higher than $314.4 billion in the same period of last year.
Ending client margin loan balances reached $43.2 billion, an increase of 3.1% compared to $41.9 billion in the prior month and an increase of 2.4% compared to $42.2 billion in July of last year.
Ending client credit balances stood at $98.8 billion, including $3.3 billion in insured bank deposit sweeps, basically unchanged from $98.9 billion in last month, but rising by 4.8% compared to $94.3 billion in last July.
Number of client accounts for the month grew by 1.7% from 2.29 million in June to 2.33 million, reporting an increased of 19% on a yearly basis.
Average commission per cleared Commissionable Order was $3.01, including exchange, clearing and regulatory fees.
