Interactive Brokers Enhances IBKR Desktop Platform with New Options Tools

Interactive Brokers, a leading player in electronic trading, has announced a series of updates to its IBKR Desktop platform aimed at enhancing user experience and functionality. The new features include advanced tools for options trading and charting, reflecting the company's commitment to empowering traders of all levels.

The platform now includes an Options Wizard to help users identify strategies aligned with market outlooks, while the Option Chain in Custom Layouts allows for integrating multiple chains into layouts and customizing data columns for options-specific metrics like Greeks or Implied Volatility. New Options Screeners enable sorting and scanning of complex combination strategies, adding insights into daily volume and trades.

Traders can now compare multiple symbols on a single chart, visualize market activity through Volume Candles, and analyze performance using customizable date ranges. Additional indicators, such as Pivot Point Standard, Volume Profile Fixed Range, and the True Strength Index, have also been introduced.

Interactive Brokers has emphasized the platform's versatility, which enables trading across stocks, options, futures, currencies, bonds, and funds on over 150 markets globally.
