Interactive Brokers Integrates Kalshi, CME, and ForecastEx for Unified Event Trading

74fccc81a2ae8cd9c5c5dbdcaf5bb07.jpegInteractive Brokers has launched a new feature consolidating access to multiple U.S. prediction market platforms into a single interface. This allows clients to trade contracts tied to real-world events without managing separate accounts. The integrated system connects users to Kalshi, CME Group, and ForecastEx, aggregating similar contracts for real-time search, comparison, and execution.

An automated order system scans prices across the three exchanges and routes trades to the venue with the best net price. This eliminates the need for clients to open or fund individual accounts on each platform. The feature is embedded within Interactive Brokers' existing trading environment, enabling clients to manage prediction market positions alongside stocks, options, forex, futures, crypto, and bonds with consolidated reporting.

The initial rollout includes contracts linked to elections, economic indicators, and climate-related events. "Prediction markets are reshaping how investors think about risk and uncertainty," said CEO Milan Galik. Kalshi CEO Tarek Mansour noted growing institutional interest, while CME Group Chairman Terry Duffy highlighted rising retail participation.

The platform allows users to view liquidity, compare prices, and execute trades from a single screen. The service is available to eligible clients, with more contracts expected to be added. In related industry moves, Tradeweb took a minority stake in Kalshi for institutional integration, and FOREX.com's parent StoneX partnered with Kalshi for themed event trading.

Separately, Interactive Brokers (U.K.) Limited more than doubled its pre-tax profit to £34 million in 2025, up from £13.6 million the previous year. After-tax profit rose to £26 million from £10.5 million, while turnover increased 28% to £46.2 million.
