Interactive Brokers Notched 15% Yearly Decline in DARTs for October 2022

Interactive Brokers, one of the biggest US-based brokerage firm, has released its monthly brokerage statistics for October 2022, showing a yearly slow down in daily average revenue trades (DARTs).

The total client DARTs for the month on the brokerage platform came to be 1.965 million, which is a decline of 15 percent when compared to the previous year. But, the figures were about even with prior month.
In October, Interactive Brokers's ending client equity reached $296.7 billion, which is 22 percent lower than prior year and 3 percent higher than prior month. Furthermore, the company's ending client margin loan balances hit $95 billion in October, which is 9 percent higher than 2021 and about even with prior month.
When it comes to clients, the US brokerage reported that the total number of client accounts on the platform was 2.04 million, which is 29 percent higher than last year's number and 1 percent higher than last month.
