Interactive Brokers Optimizes Its Client Portal to Provide Users Exit Strategy Setting

Interactive Brokers has added new functionalities to its Client Portal, which allows traders to monitor prices and place trades, check account balances, profit and loss statements, and key performance metrics, as well as funding and reporting.
The Exit Strategy link at the bottom of the Order Ticket allows Client Portal users to easily set up an exit strategy for their orders. Users can define a bracket order to capture profit (Profit Taker) and limit loss (Stop Loss), use one or both orders, and make adjustments as appropriate.
The search bar has been improved to show more details about a contract. Users can click in the search bar (labeled "Search Inside") after the contract search has returned to get a drop-down list of helpful information on the contract, including basics, news, and more.
The Markets menu also has a Mutual Fund Scanner option, which allows users to set filters and search for Fund Families. Results can be downloaded to Excel by clicking Download to XLS.
The Trade Worldwide feature is also accessible through the Discover menu in the Client Portal.
Clients of IBKR can trade products in 135 different markets across the world. Through the Trade Worldwide news feed, they can find new products that complement their current investment plan more easily. The Trade Worldwide feed delivers a list of actionable, potential worldwide investments tailored specifically for the user based on their current portfolio and trading behavior. Users can click Related Tickers at the bottom of any news story to trade the product or add to their Watchlist.
Fazzaco has learned that Interactive Brokers has partnered with TradingView, a social network of 30 million traders and investors who use the world's top charts and tools to seek opportunity in global markets, so as to serve traders free stock charts, stock quotes, and trade suggestions. Moreover, TradingView charts are available in the Quote Details screen in Client Portal for any stock symbol.
