Interactive Brokers Reports 18% Y/Y Decrease in DARTs in June 2022

Interactive Brokers, one of the biggest US-based brokerage firm, recently posted its trading volumes for the month of June, indicating a drop in DARTs both on a YoY and MoM basis.

More specifically, the broker registered a DARTs of 2.019 million, 18 pecent lower than the previous year and 12 percent lower than the previous year. In June, Interactive Brokers's ending client equity reached $294.8 billion, down by 19 percent compared with last year and 6 percent with last month. Ending client credit balances came in at $92.5 billion, up 13 percent on a YoY basis.
Moreover, the broker's ending client margin loan balances hit $42.6 billion, showing 13 percent decrease compared to the prior year and 4 percent with prior month.
