Electronic trading firm Interactive Brokers has released its February 2025 operating metrics, showing significant year-over-year growth in trading activity and client accounts.
The brokerage reported 3.617 million Daily Average Revenue Trades, marking a 48% increase from February 2024 and a 4% rise from the previous month. The total number of client accounts reached 3.54 million, reflecting a 32% year-over-year increase and a 3% monthly gain.

The average commission per cleared commissionable order was reported at $2.80, inclusive of exchange, clearing, and regulatory fees.
The latest figures follow a strong financial performance in the fourth quarter of 2024, during which Interactive Brokers posted net revenues of $1.387 billion ($1.424 billion on an adjusted basis) and net interest income of $807 million, an 11% increase driven by higher customer margin loans and credit balances.
As the brokerage continues its expansion, its ability to sustain client engagement and trading activity will remain a key focus for investors and industry analysts.
