Interactive Brokers LLC (NASDAQ:IBKR), a Broker Dealer with consolidated equity capital of more than $8.5 billion, today announced the release of its Electronic Brokerage monthly performance metrics for October 2020. It reported that the daily average revenue trades(DARTS) of currency trading were 1.762 million last month on the company's main FX trading services. October's DARTS figure down 10 percent when compared to 1.953 million transactions in September, but higher by nearly 120 percent on a yearly basis.

Key Financial figures for the month are as follows:

• 1,762 thousand Daily Average Revenue Trades (DARTs), 121% higher than prior year and 10% lower than prior month.

• Ending client equity of $232.6 billion, 43% higher than prior year and about even with prior month.

• Ending client margin loan balances of $31.7 billion, 25% higher than prior year and 6% higher than prior month.

• Ending client credit balances of $71.5 billion, including $2.9 billion in insured bank deposit sweeps, 26%

higher than prior year and 1% higher than prior month.

• 1,008 thousand client accounts, 50% higher than prior year and 3% higher than prior month.

• 396 annualized average cleared DARTs per client account.

• Average commission per cleared Commissionable Order of $2.49 including exchange, clearing and regulatory fees.

Although most US brokers now offer commission-free trades on almost all exchange-traded products, the so-called DARTs are still a key brokerage industry standard for measuring their clients' activity.

Form the above figures, we saw the number of Client Accounts is also three percent higher from 981 thousand client accounts in September 2020, and up 50 percent year-over-year when compared to the same period in 2019.
