Interactive Brokers, the largest electronic trading platform in the U.S., has published TWS Beta Version 10.14, a new (beta) version of its TWS platform that provides support for Mutual Funds in Model Portfolios.

Traders can add funds to an existing model, or create a new model to invest in the fund. Because Mutual Funds trade only once a day when the market closes, the number of shares and cash value update differently from other assets.

Previously, the latest (production) version of the platform has offered an enhanced Events Calendar, allowing traders to stay on top of current and upcoming economic and corporate events for companies around the globe. Filters can be used by traders to decide whether they want to see all upcoming IPOs, or only those connected to companies in their portfolio and Watchlists.

The latest TWS production release (10.12) also includes the Allocation Order Tool, enabling Financial Advisors to help clients realize tax benefits of capital loss.

According to the previous report of Fazzaco, since the beginning of 2020, Interactive Brokers' TWS platform has been enhanced continuously, newly added or optimized many functions like access to fundamentals data, Risk Navigator what-if cash adjustment, change trades' cost basis, Algorithm Favorites, Learn section, Order Ticket.
