Iress announces the appointment of Eric Kuah

Melbourne-based Iress announced the appointment of Eric Kuah today to the newly-created role of Head of Client Solutions – Asia. The company is a global provider of software to the financial services industry with clients across Asia, including Maybank Kim Eng and Hong Leong.

In March, Iress had announced the launch of a new hub to provide free technology-related information and support for the financial services industry as it was adjusting to new ways of working in the COVID-19 era.

Kuah will join Iress’ Singapore-based team today with the responsibility of leading the client solutions function in Asia; leveraging global expertise to support clients with sophisticated needs who want to use a combination of Iress’ software and services for an end-to-end solution including across broking, wealth management, market data and data analytic services.

Iress managing director, Asia, Jason Hoang enthused, “I’m delighted to welcome Eric Kuah to the team. Having worked closely with Eric through our client Maybank Kim Eng, I know he brings tremendous experience and knowledge in designing business strategies and solutions across mobile, wealth, trading, data warehousing and market data. Prior to joining Iress, Kuah was the Regional Head of Digital Business Strategy at Maybank Kim Eng where he developed and executed its digital growth strategies across ASEAN and held a variety of senior digital business roles for over 10 years. Before this, he spent over four years as a system integration and technology consultant at Accenture specialising in financial services.
