Italian CONSOB Adds 8 New Unauthorized Financial Websites to Its Blacklist

Italian financial regulator CONSOB has announced the addition of eight new websites to its blacklist of unauthorized financial service providers. The regulator ordered the blackout of these websites, citing the abusive offering of financial intermediation services and services related to crypto-activities.
In a statement released yesterday, CONSOB detailed that four of the targeted websites were involved in unauthorized financial intermediation, while the other four were providing crypto-related services without the necessary permissions.
The websites ordered to be blacked out are:
"Investing Banks": https://investing-banks.com and https://online-sys-inv.com
Pim Mtf Markets Limited: www.pimmtf.com
"Trade Republica": https://tradingrepublicaltd.com and https://cfd.tradingrepublica.com
Top Markets Ltd: https://tender-capitalcfd.com and https://wt.tender-capitalcfd.com
Deroka UAB: https://dtcoin.tech, https://dtwallet.io and https://forcedmarketcap.tech
DTSocialize Holding PLC: https://dtsmoney.com and https://portal.dtsmoney.com
CONSOB utilized its powers under the "Decreto crescita" (Growth Decree) for financial intermediaries and the more recent MiCAR (Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation) for crypto-related services to issue the blackout orders. These regulations allow CONSOB to take action against websites offering unauthorized services to Italian investors.
With this latest move, the total number of websites blacklisted by CONSOB since July 2019 has reached 1268. This highlights the ongoing efforts by the Italian regulator to protect investors from fraudulent online activities.
The regulator stated that the process of blacking out these websites by Italian internet service providers is underway, though it may take several days for the measures to become fully effective due to technical reasons.
CONSOB reiterated its call for investors to exercise utmost caution when making investment decisions. The authority urged individuals to verify that any financial service provider they engage with is properly authorized and to ensure that prospectuses have been published for offered financial products.
