CONSOB blocks unauthorized investment websites in Italy

Italy's Companies and Exchange Commission (CONSOB) has ordered the blocking of access to 11 unauthorized investment websites, the regulator announced today. The move brings the total number of sites blocked by CONSOB since July 2019 to 1,816, of which 233 are related to crypto assets.

The targeted entities are:

  • "Zynerix" (site https://zynerix.net and related pages https://client.zynerix.net and https://webtrader.zynerix.net);

  • "Royalassetmanagement" (site https://rlassetmanagement.com and related pages https://client.rlassetmanagement.com and https://webtrader.rlassetmanagement.com);

  • "Interactive" (site https://interactive-inv.com and related page https://client.interactive-inv.com);

  • "PUPRIME" (sites www.puprime.com, https://it.puprime.com, https://it.puprimepartners.com and related pages https://myaccount.puprime.com and https://myaccount.puprime.online);

  • "Rocketprobit" – "flintmoor.buzz" (sites https://rocketprobit.com, https://rocketprobitit.com, https://rocketprobitai.digital, and https://tekvio.digital, as well as the related advertising site https://flintmoor.buzz).

Internet service providers operating in Italy are currently blocking these websites. However, for technical reasons, the actual blocking may take several days to implement.

CONSOB advises investors to exercise utmost diligence to make fully informed investment decisions, adopting common sense practices essential to safeguarding their savings. These include prior verification, for websites offering investment services and crypto-assets, that the operator through which they are investing is authorized and, for financial products and crypto-assets, that the prospectus or white paper has been published.

The regulator also warns of the evolution of deceptive practices that exploit the Internet to steal users' money and personal data. There has been an increase in the use of new tools, such as "cloned" emails and websites, fake profiles of political figures, celebrities, and AI-generated content—such as images, voices, or videos—with the aim of inducing savers to make harmful investment decisions.
