Jay Mawji Joins STARTRADER to Lead New Institutional Prime Services Arm

Jay Mawji, former CEO of CFDs broker INFINOX, has joined the Retail FX and CFDs brokerage group STARTRADER as the Chief Executive Officer of its newly launched institutional prime services business, STARprime.
STARprime is STARTRADER's new institutional product, focusing on offering liquidity and technology services to brokerages, funds, and fintech companies within the CFDs industry. STARprime will operate from its headquarters in Dubai, supported by regional offices globally.
Jay Mawji stepped down as CEO of INFINOX earlier this year following a change of ownership at the company. He had been with INFINOX for 15 years, primarily serving as Managing Director of the group's FCA-regulated INFINOX Capital operation in London, which oversees the IXO Prime institutional B2B business.
STARTRADER has recently made several other senior strategic hires, including Moe Padhani as Chief Commercial Officer, Allan Maira as Head of Operations, and Clarice Frost as Client Operations Specialist.
Jay Mawji commented on his new role, stating, "I have had a close relationship with STARTRADER for many years and we have been patiently waiting for our opportunity to work together. STARTRADER has a strong Partner & Retail offering; it's only natural that we expand into offering a Premium Liquidity Product through STARprime."
Peter Karsten, CEO of STARTRADER, added, "It is fantastic for STARTRADER to have Jay join us; his track record speaks for itself. We truly believe in bringing together the best individuals and teams we can, to provide our clients with an unparalleled product and service, this move achieves just that."
