Johan Koo Appointed Head of Prime Services APAC at Invast Global

Invast Global, a leading multi-asset brokerage based in Sydney, has onboarded Johan Koo as its Head of Prime Services for APAC (ex. Japan) to further strengthen its operations for the region. Johan will work closely with the team across the company to offer premier customer service and help the firm tap into new markets.

Before joining Invast Global, he was at CMC Markets, a leading global provider of online trading across CFD & stockbroking, focused on institutional sales for APAC & Canada. Prior to that, he served the multi-asset online CFD trading provider ACY Securities as Institutional Business Manager | Global Derivatives & Capital Markets.

Previously, Johan has been part of easyMarkets, a leading global FX and CFDs broker, for more than two years. During this period, he worked as Senior Derivatives Dealer initially, then was promoted to Head of Trading after eight months. He also held positions of Senior Corporate Trader at FIRMA Foreign Exchange, and Sales Consultant at HSBC for three years.

The latest appointment follows Invast Global’s hire of Tiffany Besnard​ as Director, Head of Hedge Fund Sales (APAC), tasked her with leading many strategic projects, working alongside the firm's Prime Services team in a period of growth across APAC.
