Japan Exchange Group today released Trading Overview in September 2022 & First Half of FY2022 (April to September).
Cash Equity Market
In the first half of FY2022, the daily average trading value for the Prime Market (domestic common stocks) was JPY 3.2350 trillion.
In the first half of FY2022, the daily average trading value for ETFs was JPY 283 billion.
In September 2022, the daily average trading value for the Prime Market (domestic common stocks) was JPY 3.2848 trillion.
The daily average trading value for the ETF market was JPY 297.7 billion.
Derivatives Market
In the first half of FY2022, total derivatives trading volume was 194,566,244 contracts.
In the first half of FY2022, total derivatives trading value reached JPY 1,571 trillion.
In the first half of FY2022, trading volume for the night session and the ratio of the night session were 78,956,854 contracts and 40.6%.
In the first half of FY2022, trading volume for DJIA Futures was 344,906 contracts, the highest record for the half year.
In September 2022, total derivatives trading volume was 35,329,838 contracts.
