JPX's Net Income of FY21 Drops 2.3% YoY

Japan Exchange Group, Inc (JPX) has released its consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2022 (from April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022), unveiling that its net income dropped from 52,017 million yen of the same period of last year by 2.3% to 50,830 million yen.

In terms of operating revenue, the figure stood at 135,432 million yen, 1.6% higher than that of previous year. Whereas, the operating income fell by 1.5% YoY to 73,473 million yen, and income before income tax came in at 73,429 million yen, down 1.7% YoY. The Exchange's comprehensive income decreased 4.9% YoY to 51,457 million yen.

Regarding net income attributable to owners of the parent company, the figure was 49,955 million yen, decreasing by 2.8% YoY. And the basic earnings per share was 94.35 yen, compared to that of the last same period at 96.00 yen.
