Karma, a prop trading firm that recently launched with significant updates and a new trading platform, has unexpectedly ceased operations. Founded by Eshan Balapatabendi, the firm had been operational for just two months before announcing its closure. Despite initial success and positive reviews, Karma encountered critical issues that led to its downfall.

The firm's closure follows challenges with its technology and risk management systems. Balapatabendi revealed that Karma's tech solution, promised by an unnamed provider, failed to materialize, leading to four months of operational delays and increased costs. Additionally, improper implementation of risk checks allowed traders who should have been excluded to advance through initial trading phases, contributing to severe cash flow problems. Balapatabendi explained, "We did not catch the cheaters that were on our system...This caused cash flow issues which has now left us with no liquidity."

Karma's sudden shutdown has surprised the trading community, especially considering recent partnerships and updates. Despite efforts to address these issues and external interest in acquiring the firm, Karma's financial difficulties proved insurmountable. Efforts are now underway to ensure that payouts are made to traders who legitimately earned profits.

Balapatabendi concluded with regret, "I truly did have good intentions. Sorry to everyone involved. I wish everyone the best in their trading journey ahead."
