Kathryn Sweeney Joins MarketAxess as Head of Index and ETF Solutions

Fazzaco learned that MarketAxess, the provider of market data and post-trade services for global fixed-income markets, has hired Kathryn Sweeney as the company's new Head of Index and ETF Solutions. In her new role, Kathryn will oversee the execution and development of the MarketAxess index and ETF business strategy.

As seen on her LinkedIn profile, Kathryn joins MarketAxess from State Street Global Advisors, where she worked as Head of Institutional Sales, Americas. Prior to that, she served as Managing Director at Goldman Sachs.

Kathryn is a graduate of Boston College.

Earlier in July, Fazzaco reported that MarketAxess generated total revenues of $176.3 million for Q2 2021​, down 4.6% compared to $184.8 million for Q2 2020. Operating income stood at $87.2 million, decreased by 16.3% than $104.1 million for the corresponding period in 2020.
