Katina Messinis Joins GCEX as UAE Sales Director

GC Exchange FZE (GCEX), part of the digital prime brokerage GCEX Group, has appointed Katina Messinis as Sales Director for the UAE region.

Katina Messinis joins GCEX from Exinity, Dubai, where she was VP of Global Sales, with a remit covering MENA, Africa, SEA and LATAM. Prior to that, she was Head of Premier Account Management at Exness in Malaysia, leading the sales team for Ultra High Net Worth clients and strategic partners across the Middle East, Asia and Africa. Previous roles also include Acting Head of Institutional Sales, ZuluTrade and Head of Business Development, Asia at PwC Legal International in Singapore.

Based at GCEX's office in Dubai, Katina’s role will focus on growing the firm's client base of brokers, hedge funds, family offices and professional traders, offering clients across the region access to deep liquidity in digital assets and a range of proprietary technology solutions.

This appointment follows GCEX Group's naming Ignacio Corral​, former Senior Associate at the FCA, as its UK Compliance Officer.
