Komainu Onboards Paul Frost Smith as Co-CEO Alongside Robert Johnson

Komainu, a regulated custodian for digital assets for institutions, has appointed Paul Frost Smith as co-CEO, wokring alongside Robert Johnson, who has been interim CEO since February and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) since October 2023.

Paul has over 30 years of experience in international financial markets, having held senior management positions at JPMorgan, Credit Suisse, Swiss Re and Haitong Securities. He has worked in London, Zurich, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo and New York.

Most recently, Paul served as co-founder and CEO of Corinthian Digital Asset Management Limited, and Managing Director at SEDA, providing expert witness services in relation to digital assets and the global crypto markets.

In the new role, Paul will be responsible for business strategy, development and expansion as well as providing innovative and tailor-made client solutions.
