KPMG's Scott Cass-Dunbar new Chief Strategy Officer of DTA

Source: Consultancy
Three months after seeing its Chief Strategy Officer leave to join Boston Consulting Group, the Digital Transformation Agency has found his replacement in the consulting industry.
Scott Cass-Dunbar served KPMG for nearly two decades, and has now taken the reins of the Digital Transformation Agency (DTA). At the Big Four firm, he most recently was a partner in its Technology Advisory practice for the public sector, helping central and local governments with leveraging emerging technologies to transform services and outcomes for citizens.
Before that, he spent almost eleven years in KPMG’s management consulting business, growing the ranks to director. During these years, he focused mainly on federal government clients. Earlier in his career, Cass-Dunbar worked for Publicis Sapient.
In his new role, Scott Cass-Dunbar heads DTA’s strategy and capability division, responsible for delivering the Australian Government’s digital strategy. He leads the delivery of the digital roadmap, digital capability, the new GovDXP platform (supported by McKinsey and Deloitte) and the whole-of-government architecture.
The whole-of-government architecture is a recent initiative aimed at improving “cross-agency design and investment decisions”, and will start by cataloguing reusable platform and services.
Commenting on his new role, Cass-Dunbar said: “Such an amazing opportunity to be part of this team, together we can really make a difference to what digital delivers for our country.”
Scott Cass-Dunbar succeeds Anthony Vlasic, who left the role in February to re-join Boston Consulting Group in the role of partner.
