Kraken adds GBP and AUD trading pairs for 14 crypto assets

​Kraken, a US-based cryptocurrency exchange, announced that it has added GBP and AUD trading pairs for 14 crypto assets, making Kraken's GBP and AUD clients now have more seamless access to 14 assets and related services such as its staking rewards.

The UK is one of Kraken's most active client bases for staking, a way to earn rewards when clients stake cryptocurrencies for a period of time. Since the introduction of AUD funding in 2020, Australia has become one of Kraken's fastest growing markets .

With the addition of GBP and AUD trading pairs, clients can use AUD and GBP to purchase assets such as DOT and ATOM to earn regular rewards through Kraken's staking service. 

Additionally, with trading pairs for assets like AAVE and SNX, Kraken now offers AUD and GBP clients a far more direct route into decentralized finance (DeFi), a space with a twenty-fold increase of total value last year. 

Lastly, adding AUD and GBP support for the assets such as ADA, LINK, and USDC , Kraken now offers clients more access to other leading projects with billion-dollar market caps.
