Kraken Hires Mike Davidson as Its New Vice President of Design & Research

Fazzaco learned that Kraken Digital Asset Exchange (Kraken) has hired Mike Davidson as the company's new Vice President, Design & Research. In his new role, Mike will be in charge of bolstering client experiences across the full suite of products offered nowadays.

As seen on his LinkedIn profile, Mike joins Kraken from InVision, a digital product design platform where he served as Vice President. Prior to InVision, he worked as Vice President of Design at Twitter. Additionally, he had held roles at companies including NBC News, Walt Disney and ESPN.

Mike is a graduate of the University of Washington with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

In late August, Kraken announced that it was seeking to acquire a license​ to enter the European market by the end of 2021. The exchange is formally present in Europe, however, it currently offers access to its European clients via its subsidiary Crypto Facilities, known as Kraken Futures, an entity registered with the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
