Kudotrade Rebrands as Kudo.com in Move to Broader Financial Platform
Kudotrade has officially adopted the Kudo.com name, a change the company announced on Tuesday as part of its evolution from an online brokerage to a wider financial platform. The move was telegraphed months ago when the firm acquired the domain and revealed the plan alongside securing preliminary approval from the UAE's Capital Market Authority and opening a Dubai office.
This rebranding follows a common industry pattern where retail CFD brokers refresh their identities to signal expanded offerings, often while maintaining their core trading infrastructure. Recent examples include Blueberry shortening its name in 2024 and the entities behind Octa planning a new identity in 2026.
Kudo.com's shift is notable for its timing, occurring just two years after the brand's 2024 launch. The company is betting the cleaner .com address holds more value than the recognition built under the Kudotrade name. Since starting its CFD business in 2024, the firm has expanded into adjacent areas like prop trading with its Kudo Funded program in 2025 and hired former Capital.com and HFM CFO Stathis Flangofas.
Chief Operating Officer Finley Wilkinson linked the new name to the company's ambitions. "Our rebrand to Kudo.com reflects the scale of our ambition and the direction in which the business is evolving," he said, aiming to build next-generation financial services. Existing clients will retain their accounts and platform access during the transition. Operationally, Kudo Trade (Mauritius) Ltd holds a Mauritian license (GB2420359) and runs CFD services through entities in Mauritius, Saint Lucia, and Cyprus.
