Laurent Danesi Appointed Chief Innovation Officer at smartTrade Technologies

Laurent Danesi has been appointed as the new Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) at smartTrade Technologies, a France-based provider of multi-asset electronic trading and payment solutions. A seasoned technology professional with over two decades of experience at smartTrade, Danesi's new role highlights his extensive contributions to the company.

Danesi joined smartTrade Technologies in 2004 as a System Architect, eventually taking on several key positions within the company. These roles include Chief Architect and Head of Product Development. His appointment as CIO is seen as a natural progression for the long-standing member of the team.

"After 20 years of helping build smartTrade's product suite, I am excited to take on this new challenge of fostering innovation to better serve our customers and enhance our technological offerings," said Danesi in a statement.

SmartTrade Technologies, which provides SaaS solutions for various financial assets, has been undergoing notable leadership changes. In September, Catherine Bran-Morales was promoted to Head of Business Development for APAC, following her successful tenure as Sales Director EMEA.
